Here’s a quick guide to the main areas of Film School and how to get around.

Homepage

When you’re logged in, your homepage is your dashboard. From here you can:

  • See the screenings you’ve RSVPed to under Events I’m Attending
  • Browse Upcoming Seasons — tap a season’s name for its season page, or tap a film for its page and RSVP
  • Fill in the Suggest a Film form to recommend a film for future seasons

If you’re not logged in, the homepage shows a welcome page with info about Film School.

Seasons

Upcoming seasons are listed on your homepage. Each season also has its own public page (/s/...) with its lineup of films, dates, times, and RSVP links.

The bar at the top of every page has a Docs link that opens these docs, a light/dark theme toggle, and a Logout button when you’re logged in.

Film detail pages

Each film has its own page showing details like the screening date, time, and a blurb about the film. This is also where you’ll find the RSVP panel to reserve your spot.

Public pages

Some pages don’t require a login:

  • Season pages (/s/...) — shareable links to browse a season’s lineup
  • Film pages — individual film details with RSVP, accessible from season links
  • Voting pages (/vote/...) — ranked-choice ballots for community polls
  • These docs (/docs) — you’re here now
Tip

If Dann & Avi share a link to a season or film page, you can open it directly — no need to log in first.

You’re already in the docs. Use the sidebar to browse by topic, or head back to the welcome page for an overview. The Docs link in the menu bar brings you back here any time.
